Off all the places to sit on this HUGE grassy hill, I sat down in a thorn bush covered in grass and Brittany barbarically pulled me out. 

Bird Hide!

Sitting at the Bird Hide has gotten me through a sad week of "lasts".  On Thursday Night I went there with Max, Brad, Brittany and Suzanne. We watched the sun go down and then we were freezing so went to sit by the fire at Monk's Pub and ended up ordering a bit of food. One of the owners came out and chatted with us for a bit and got a each a free pint! Mmmm! Special Memories.

The Burren College of Art End of the Year Exhibition

My Studio: 

I showed one of my series of portraits I've been continuously working on throughout the semester. It's been a study of photography and people reactions to me as a person and a photographer. I can't stress enough how much my world has been turned upside down here  in the Burren in regards to photography. 

I also played a video I've been working on doing a bit of a study of personal photographs and snapshots. It's a video documentary of people talking about their favorite personal photos and attaching stories. It's really lovely.

These are pictures from my last Friday at school. It was our last day all together so Robert and Kinji made lunch for everyone. Robert made delicious homemade pizza and Kinji made homemade sushi!

I don't know what I was thinking when I said I am ready to "move on". Nope, not ready- not at all. This week we are cleaning and getting ready and I am ignoring all signs of leaving and going about life "normally". I am not ready to leave this magical place, not even a little bit.
